Slipknot are now selling the masks they’ve been using throughout the We Are Not Your Kind album cycle. Not the COVID-19 kind of masks either – the actual full-on masks the band wears on stage and in all their photos. Though you could probably get people to stay away from you if you wore one of these in public. So in that way, they’re good for social distancing too!

It should be noted that Tortilla Man’s mask is labeled as New Guy Mask in the band’s shop too, which is disappointing. You might recall, earlier in the year, the band’s merch site inadvertently revealed the identity of Tortilla Man by naming him while promoting Slipknot’s line of neck gaiters, labeling it as a „Pfaff gaiter,“ which confirms the identity of Tortilla Man as Michael Paff.
Last August, fans seemed to put together a pretty solid theory as to the identity of the new member, saying it was a former bandmate of Clown’s side project, Michael Pfaff. There has been video footage to back up this claim and even photographic evidence, but never confirmation from Slipknot themselves until this slip up.
Vocalist Corey Taylor recently told That Jamieson Show he and his fellow maggots are already thinking about the follow up to 2019’s We Are Not Your Kind.
„I was just talking to Clown the other day about what we should… ‘Cause we’re obviously thinking about what the next album could be like,“ he said. „And he’s in this trippy place, dude, which is rad. I love it when he’s in this crazy mindset, because I know I’m gonna hear stuff that I’ve never heard before. He’s so goddamn creative, and that inspires Jim [Root]. And all the tumblers really start to fall. So it’s pretty rad. I can’t wait.“
